The woman that works at the post office behind the desk is extremely unfriendly. I was returning a holter monitor device that I had been wearing and the Company specifically told me to ask for a tracking receipt, so in the event that it was lost, I would not have to pay for this expensive device. She told me I should have written the number down, I said absolutely not, I want a receipt. She was very irritated that I said I wanted a receipt. Another time, I was dropping off Christmas packages and the one I was sending had a bottle of cologne in it. She asked if there was liquid, I said yes, she said very rudely that I was very lucky the package was nitgoing to be transported via airplane and chucked my package into a bin. At the same time, someone was at the side door for something work related and rang the bell and she screamed angrily, that she was busy and they needed to wait. The person behind me turned around and walked out. I stood there dumbfounded.
Waited at home for a package to arrive on Saturday. Tracking showed it was in vehicle for delivery. Watch the driver deliver mail then sit at end of road, never come out of vehicle or up to my home. Tracking shows it was returned to PO due to no answer and a notice was left. Needless to say, a notice was not left. It's Presidents' Day weekend and now I have to wait 2 extra days for my package, when I needed the contents on Sunday, and have to somehow get out of work before the PO closes to pick it up because they close before most people get out of work. Problem entirely due to laziness.
The lady upfront obviously hates her job. Extremely rude woman. I stood up front with multiple people behind the desk just watching me. I inquired for help multiple times. Finally the usual front desk lady came and she had a nasty attitude and wasn't polite. Her customer service needs work or she should find a job where she doesn't have to help people face to face.
Generally good service in person and our regular delivery lady is great! However, they are usually very short with you on the phone, and its concerning that we rarely ever get mail on a Saturday. My only other concern is when large parcels arrive, they usually jam them into my mailbox rather than take an extra 2 minutes to bring them to the door. These issues seem to be when its not our regular mail lady.
Was there at 9:58am on a friday. To inquire about a package my tracking number not working on line. Lady behind desk seemed short and mad that I asked to look up my package by the tracking number "her job" witnessed them sorting and throwing the packages into bins lituarlly throwing soo take that into prospective. Then I had a man must be manager possibly come out aggressively asking in a angry tone if I called early wich I did not and was told it's here and will be put out to be shipped. Never will I ship through them agian. Unprofessional and they always leave my package on my neighbors pouch instead of walking around and looking for the giant number I have to show my apt.
